The most popular way to get to us is Flydrive – Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble
Flights run regularly and if booking in advance you can get a return for less than £50.  Go to Skyscanner for prices and flight times from all airports.

Access to La Bonne Vie, in the pretty village of Le Chatelard (in the centre of the map below), is just 60 minutes away from picking up your car in Geneva, if travelling by the A41 toll road or around 8 hours if driving from Calais using the toll roads.

 

Car hire is available from £22 a day at Rhino Car Hire, Holiday Autos, AutoEurope, Argus Car Hire or CarHire3000.  The Rhino Car hire link is a special link which automatically gives you a 5% discount.  If travelling from Geneva, we strongly recommend hiring the car from the Swiss side if you use the toll roads to get to us (which is the quickest route and costs around 9€ each way).

 

In Switzerland you are required to have a vignette to drive on the motorways. Swiss hire cars will have these but not the French ones.  When crossing the border using the motorway, usually when returning to Switzerland, the guards may spot that you do not have a vignette and relieve you of 40CHF (approx £30) to purchase one.
